Award-winning R&B artist Usher, famous for his chart-topping singles such as “Yeah!” and “OMG”, has only recently released new tour dates for 2023. The tour is called “The Vegas Residency,” and it consists of Usher performing multiple shows per month at the Dolby Live Theatre in Las Vegas starting in March and going until December.
Inspired by his historic 2004 single "Confessions," Usher's most highly praised 2022 concert tour supports Usher even managed to play more than seventy-five shows in North America, Europe, and Australia throughout that tour. Along with appreciating a fantastic concert and staging, the crowd praised Usher for his iconic dancing and singing performance.
What then may fans anticipate from the recently revealed Vegas residence gigs by Usher? The audience will be treated to a well-choreographed performance full of popular songs by one of the best R&B performers of all time given the extravagant prior shows. The events will take place at the Dolby Live Theater, which is smaller with a capacity to welcome a little over 5000 people.
Usher said on the break, "I have been longing to perform for my Las Vegas audience and I am happy to announce that I will be back on the Dolby Live stage in the following year for my Vegas residency."
Her Vegas Show starts when? Usher now intends to start the Vegas residency on March 3, 2023. In 2023 he is supposed to perform eighteen times overall. Usher will play another round of events in August and September after the March-April ones. And he will be shutting out the year with 10 major events in November and December.

The question therefore arises – which songs will Usher sing in Vegas? As to what songs will be performed in full, a list has not been released yet, although it will be safe to assume that one will get to hear Usher singing his way through his treasure trove of hits when he performs in Vegas. If there is any justice in the world, “You Make Me Wanna,” “U Got It Bad,” and “Love in This Club” should show up in this show. He will also probably perform some of his sultry ballads from the many albums he has produced over the years. Usher has released so many hit songs over the past twenty years that he can switch the list of songs every night and there will be nowhere near enough songs left for him to perform.
Given that this is Vegas, it might not be a shock if Usher brought out some guests to join him on stage for a song. Other R&B artists such as Lil Jon and Ludacris could also be part of the party. Or Usher could further spice up his performance by doing what he has never done before such as inviting a female artist that he featured in a song like Nicki Minaj or Beyonce.
Is there an opening act at usher’s Vegas shows? As for the list of opening acts, these have not been officially announced yet. In the past, Usher has cultivated dynamic live performers during his tours like Trey Songz, August Alsina, and DJ Cassidy among others. They can only wish to see today’s contemporary R&B stars or favorite singers from earlier years making one or two guest appearances in Vegas.
Usher can also perform for a whole show without an opening act because he has the swag to get the crowd going from start to end. Despite that, whatever he chooses for the Vegas shows, you can bet that fans will feel the energy getting them ready for a show as soon as the doors are opened.
Is it possible that Usher will be rescheduling the performances that have been postponed? When the COVID-19 pandemic started in 2020, Usher had to stop his planned Las Vegas shows after a couple of Las Vegas shows were canceled due to the ban on large groups. Those original dates were scheduled for The Colosseum entertainment venue at Caesars Palace.
For now, it is still unknown whether Usher and his team will be able to reschedule those canceled Colosseum shows. The newly announced residency at Dolby Live Theatre also seems to be a completely new venture. Audiences who purchased tickets for the shows at Caesars Palace in 2020 should look for emails from the ticket-selling platform that would explain the refund process.
This is because; considering that Usher has been performing in Las Vegas for a long time besides having a large fan base all over the world, it was high time he was to start a new Vegas residency. The Dolby Live Theatre will be an ideal place to watch Usher perform nearly two decades of his hits with the energetic dance moves and powerful voice that has made him famous. Come and get your tickets to watch the King of Pop back in Las Vegas!
