When The Head And The Heart Concert Tour?
Formed in 2009, the Seattle, Washington American indie folk rock band The Head and the Heart is Jonathan Russell on vocals, guitar, and piano; Josiah Johnson on vocals, guitar, and piano; Charity Rose Thielen on violin, guitar, and vocals; Chris Zasche on bass; Kenny Hensley on keyboards; Tyler Williams on drums comprise the band. The Head and the Heart originally started separately releasing their debut album in 2009, then they signed with Sub Pop Records. They still tour North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia in addition to having put three more studio albums out.
In 2019 the Head and the Heart traveled North America and promoted their 2018 album Living Mirage. It started in March with a sequence of events in many Western American cities. Before they go to the eastern part, they play in big cities such as San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. They performed at such places as Salt Lake City, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC and others in the next months. Headlining some of the largest venues until then, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, they had the longest leg in 2019. Along with other shows, they participated in events like Shaky Knees, Railbird, Mad Cool, and Lollapalooza.
Still throughout summer and in the early fall, The Head and the Heart continued their tour. Following two spectacular sold-out events at the venerable Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, they ended the first North American portion in October. They then resumed their tour in Europe and the United Kingdom to play in London, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris. Then they returned across the Atlantic for one more North American trip in November, seeing cities all over Canada.
Apart from enjoying headline events and concerts at the festival, The Head and the Heart supported several very important gigs from Mumford Sons, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Lumineers. Having performed for different fan bases in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, their 2019 annual results were remarkable.
The Head and the Heart therefore traveled almost the whole year 2019 and have now indicated that they are in the process of getting fresh content ready for a new studio album. At this point of development, certain information is unavailable; still, one can anticipate additional touring after the publication of the record in the next years. The band will draw even more supporters for their performances in the future, hence their next headline events will take place in even more grand and well-known locations.
