British band The Fray reveals concert dates for 2023
Popular American rock band The Fray revealed details about a new North American tour to be held in 2023, which will be their first show in a long while. The tour is believed to begin in January and end in May with about 30 shows at mid-size arenas across the US and Canada.
The tour comes on the heels of the band's recently released album "Reverie," their first full-length record since 2016's "Through the Years: The new album is entitled ‘The Best of The Fray. ” This new album has garnered much positive response from music lovers and critics, having been released at the earlier part of the year and entering the top ten on the Billboard charts. Tracks such as “Hold On” and “It’s for You” have gained popularity on adult contemporary radio stations in the last few months.

The Fray came into prominence in 2005 with their debut album “How to Save a Life” which included the two mega-hits of the title track and ‘Over My Head (Cable Car)’. The melodies of the songs characterized by piano and grand chorus became the hallmark of Fray’s pop-rock in the late 2000s. Nevertheless, the band did not release an album for seven more years after Scars and Stories, which came out in 2012 and their sixth album, The New Abnormal, was released in 2019.
While The Fray was on hiatus in 2010, lead vocalist Isaac Slade released a well-received solo album, and guitarist Joe King focused on producing records.
