  • Shakey Graves Reveals Massive Concert Schedule for 2023

Americana musician Shakey Graves has revealed extensive plans for a world tour in 2023, including over 50 dates in North America alone. The talented singer and songwriter is up for another tour to support his 2018 album titled Can’t Wake Up.

These new dates start on February 16 in Houston, Texas. Shakey will then travel to major cities in the southern states of America such as New Orleans, Tampa, Atlanta, Nashville, and more in late February. The tour goes on to March when Shakey Graves is to play shows at even higher latitudes in locations such as Washington, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Toronto, and Montreal among others.

In April Shakey takes a brief hiatus before starting up again in May with this round of North American tour dates featuring Shakey in Detroit, Chicago Minneapolis, Denver Salt Lake City, Seattle Portland, and more. The last currently planned tour date is June 10 in Phoenix, Arizona. However, given the fact that the musician in question is quite popular, it might still be possible to open more such dates.

Fans would thus anticipate Shakey Graves to perform songs from Can't Wake Up like "Cops and Robbers" and "Counting Sheep." Fans would therefore also expect to hear songs from past Shakey Graves albums, like "Roll the Bones" and "Dearly Departed" from the 2015 album, And the War Came. Thanks to his live one-man band performances and roots pop rock type songs, the intimate songwriter has grown a following over the last 10 years.

The upcoming headlining tour offers fans a special chance to buy a VIP ticket as well. Reserved seats, in the premium area, a Shakey Graves tour t-shirt, access inside the venue before other guests, a VIP tour laminate, and a VIP admission to the exclusive pre-show performance and meet & greet with Shakey Graves make up the VIP package. This allows committed fans to have a close-up meeting with the well-known artist.

Beginning in 2011, Shakey Graves—real name Alejandro Rose-Garcia—started recording and releasing songs. But once Dualtone Records re-issued Roll the Bones in 2014, he started to get more public praise. And the War Came, his sophomore effort of 2015, confirmed Alejandro as among the most important musicians in the current Americana scene. Released in 2018, Can't Wake Up just made second on the Billboard Americana/Folk Albums chart.

In promotion of his new work as an Austin-based singer-songwriter, he has then scheduled what might be his longest headlining tour ever in 2023. Given his ongoing record sales and captivating live presentation, huge ticket sales and vibrant crowds should accompany this Shakey Graves tour wherever it visits. Thus, be sure to schedule a live performance of this emerging alt-country musician for your area!
