  • Red Hot Chili Peppers are often regarded as one of the greatest rock bands of the past three decades. The band was founded in Los Angeles in 1983 and includes vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bass guitarist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist John Frusciante. The California-based rock band emerged in 1983, has released six studio albums to date, and has some popular songs like ‘Under the Bridge’, ‘Californication’, and ‘Can’t Stop’; the band has sold over 60 million records globally.

However, after some instability in the band in the last years of the nineties with several changes of members, the main and most famous formation Kiedis, Flea, Smith, and Frusciante joined again in 1998. They were able to release many more successful albums such as Californication in 1999 and By The Way in 2002. The guitarist John Frusciante left the band again in 2009 but rejoined the band in 2019 after being gone for 10 years. His return was welcomed with enthusiasm from fans who were looking forward to the four men being back on the field.

Here’s some good news for fans: there are strong rumors about the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album and tour in 2022. The group has been said to have been in the process of recording their twelfth studio album which would be their first with John Frusciante since 2006’s Stadium Arcadium. They have also mentioned in recent interviews that after the release of the new album they are planning an extensive concert tour.

To date, the band has not unveiled its forthcoming tour dates, although it is expected that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will embark on a global tour in summer 2022. The tour is expected to go popular band many major cities in North America and Europe since the band has a large following in the two regions.

It is not a secret that Red Hot Chili Peppers are famous for tight, energetic, and jumpy performances with powerful funk rock tunes that can turn listeners into dancers and singers. Their shows usually extend over two hours as the band plays one song after the other with their distinctive funky attitude. The musicianship and energy are through the roof, especially with the return of everyone’s favorite, Frusciante.

Naturally, the prime attraction of any Red Hot Chili Peppers’ performance is the charismatic vocalist, Anthony Kiedis. As usual, Kiedis is half-naked, and his energy is as contagious as his vocal dexterity that comes with the speed of light. At other times, the pogo-stick-like bouncing of bassist Flea gives the band stability in its music, even as he leaps and bounds around the stage. The drum and guitar partnership of Chad Smith and John Frusciante drive the beats that get the audience grooving.

When the tour starts in 2022 then fans should be prepared for a good set list of older songs as well as some of the new songs that are part of the upcoming album. When you look at so much quality material out there to choose from, one can only imagine the fantastic sets to be made. Prepare for stadium-friendly hits such as “Give It Away,” “Suck My Kiss,” and “Dani California. ”

But people will expect the band to play some of their hits as well as ballads as they are such as “Under the Bridge” and the sweet “Soul to Squeeze. ” And now that Frusciante is back, hardcore fans will be expecting songs from that period such as “Scar Tissue,” “Otherside,” “Can’t Stop. ”

When the funk-rock legends perform once more in 2022, their concerts are bound to be popular because of the expectations for the new album and the joy of a complete band’s return. That is the scenic view of visiting Red Hot Chili Peppers on tour for every fan in every city they visit. Prepare yourselves for non-stop funk music non-stop hits when Anthony, Flea, Chad, and John come to your town next summer!
