When Concerts Tours 2024?

  • With the year 2023 now here, music fans are already beginning to look forward to the year 2024 and which of their favorite stars may decide to take to the road for a full concert tour. It is still unclear when where and with whom specific tour plans and dates will be announced, but here are some artists who are expected to have a shot at 2024 tours based on their prior touring histories.

Taylor Swift is a name on the lips of many when it comes to their best guess for the 2024 tour. Her last big concert was the Reputation Stadium Tour which was the most successful concert tour by a female artist at the time concluding in December 2018. Based on previous albums and touring patterns of Taylor Swift, it does not seem illogical to expect her next big event in 2024 if she will have new songs by then. Swift is famous for large-scale production shows that incorporate many guests, set pieces, costumes, and visuals. It would be a dream concert and a 2024 Taylor Swift tour would be one of the most sought-after events of the year.

Another megastar who is yet to go on a major tour is Rihanna. Although she performed at some festivals and fashion shows in recent years, Rihanna has not toured for her album since the Anti World Tour in 2016. As we expect new music from Rihanna soon enough, this could easily mean that the Barbados Queen was expecting to embark on a stadium tour to support what would be her first album in more than five years. This is because Rihanna is one of the most popular pop artists of the last fifteen years meaning that there will be high demand for her to perform live especially if she has new songs to perform.

Another artist who has hinted at touring in the year 2024 is Harry Styles after having a large control of much of 2022 with an exhausting world tour. His recent shows on the tour called Love on Tour have set records for attendance and have further proved the prowess of Styles in live performances. Although he might decide to take a small hiatus after this monster of a tour in 2022, Styles has the energy to start another world tour at any time in the next two years. That is why a 2024 tour announcement from Styles will be one that will trigger an immediate fan rush to purchase tickets based on his shows’ sellout rate this year.

The Weeknd could also potentially hit the road again in 2024. After Hours Til Dawn tour, which was initially planned for 2020, started in 2022 and is set to continue through mid-2023 at the moment. Still, The Weeknd’s show is famous for its dramatic performances and the visuals are bright and striking. If he finishes this current trek, he might choose to sit down and create an even more elaborate spectacle for the following tour. This makes 2024 seem realistic for the launch of The Weeknd’s next major concert spell.

Moving down to rock and metal artists, there are already expectations for Metallica for a touring cycle in 2024. The legendary thrash pioneers last toured U. S. stadiums in 2017 in support of their latest record, Hardwired…To Self-Destruct album. They have signaled their desire to try to deliver their highly anticipated next studio album sometime in 2023. This probably suggests that the band is planning a large-scale tour in 2024 to promote new releases. There is no doubt that it would be one of the most attractive tickets for a rock tour.

Likewise, the Guns N’ Roses fans are waiting for the next tour dates in 2024. The last full-scale world tour of the reconstituted classic lineup of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan was in 2017. They have only been sporadically active in festivals and individual gigs in recent years but there are signs that they are gearing up to tour again. This has fuelled a lot of controversy and speculation, they say 2024 might be the year Guns N’ Rose takes on their next big reunion tour.

Other artists who are likely to be touring in 2024 as usual include legacy rock bands such as the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Eagles, and so on, who seem to have a cyclic pattern of major tour events. The same probably holds for country performers like Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, and Zac Brown Band, who play massive amphitheaters and stadiums every couple of years.

It would be remiss of us not to mention Taylor Swift’s touring and album-releasing companion, Ed Sheeran. He has, in effect, gone back and forth between being a special guest on Swift’s tours and performing his tours in support of his albums. This pattern sets Sheeran up for a future tour in support of a new album that could be released in 2024 and it would not come as a surprise if Swift returned the favor and joined him on stage during some of his shows.

Other possible outsiders who may stage big 2024 touring cycles are Justin Bieber, Drake, Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Pearl Jam. All those acts last toured heavy schedules a few years back and hence 2024 appears to be quite realistic as to when they will be back on the road behind the scenes. For example, Bieber, Drake, and Gaga have the potential to come up with stadium tours anywhere in the world anytime.

New tours are usually announced for the following year, but it seems that only the first 2023 tours are known so far, although people are eagerly awaiting who fans of music might be able to see live in 2024. Everything from pop stars to rock and roll idols should be getting first shots at the official tour announcements over the next twelve months. However, artists such as Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Harry Styles, Metallica, and The Weeknd are already on many people’s lists for concerts in 2024.
