  • Chris Daughtry is getting back on the roads this 2023! American Idol star and lead singer of the rock band Daughtry is ready to go on tour in March. Daughtry has been off the road for the past two years, so those who always look forward to seeing their favorite artist in concert will be happy to hear this news.

The tour is expected to commence on the 15th of March in Cincinnati Ohio at the Andrew J Brady Music Center. From there he will be performing in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, and many other cities before concluding in Highland, California on 6th May. Altogether, the tour is scheduled for over 30 dates, which allows fans in many areas to attend a show.

Daughtry an idolist is indeed famous for his time at the fifth season of the American Idol in the year 2006 where he was fourth and the position was taken by Taylor Hicks, Katharine McPhee, and Elliott Yamin. Following his early elimination from the competition, Daughtry immediately went on to establish his band, Daughtry, and release their multi-million-copy-selling debut self-titled album of the same year. It has received a lot of airplay especially the singles such as It's Not Over and Home and the album itself has been certified as 4X Platinum. Since then, Daughtry has not stopped producing albums and further established itself as one of the most prominent rock bands to come out of talent show competitions.

This new 2023 tour will come after the release of the band’s sixth studio album Dearly Beloved released in September 2022. The album release shows that Daughtry is continuing to release new music for fans to enjoy while also, presumably, providing fans at concerts a new opportunity to listen to new music. Of course, the greatest hits that have been performed in previous albums are also up and coming in Daughtry’s concert tour. As six albums are now in the group's discography, Chris Daughtry will not have a shortage of popular hits to sing every night.

Although the list of songs for the shows has not been announced yet, the band’s fans might be eager to listen to Home, It's Not Over, Waiting for Superman, No Surprise, Crashed, Used To, Gone Too Soon, etc. Almost all Daughtry shows in the past have included around twenty songs with encores giving the frontman ample time to display his powerful vocals and the band's musicianship. Perhaps fans will be even more blessed, and from time to time, a new performance of the song or a cover can be heard here and there. Daughtry likes to switch things up on stage from time to time.

The tickets for the newly released tour will be available for purchase on Friday, 27th of January. The prices will be different, but usually, the fans might expect an average ticket price in the region of 60 to 100 dollars, depending on where they want to sit. Some venues may also have VIP options that might include a chance to meet the artist, early entrance to the venue, souvenir items, and much more. In so doing fans will get a better variety and better seats depending on the venues they will want to get into when they buy the tickets. These shows are likely to attract large audiences in every city.

Given the interruptions that the COVID-19 pandemic brought to concert activities over the past couple of years, fans of Daughtry and its members have been looking forward to the opportunity to see the band in action. With this long list of tour dates set and a new album out, 2023 will see fans have chances to belt out the words to Chris Daughtry and Daughtry as the band tours across America. It is sure going to be an entertaining and lively show at each of these performances which the diehard and casual fans will not want to miss. Check out whether the Daughtry concert tour is heading your way and grab the tickets immediately.
