When 21 Pilots Concert Tour?
Twenty-One Pilots is one of the most popular bands that emerged in the last few years, thanks to their heartfelt lyrics, experimentation, and performances. The two-member group of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun is famous for expressing their true feelings and sharing their experiences through their songs.
Twenty One Pilots reached mainstream popularity with their second studio album Blurryface released in 2015 along with Stressed Out and Ride and went off the road for two years to create their next album. They came back in 2018 with Trench, an album built around the concept of the metaphorical city of Dema and the story of overcoming one’s demons. These songs like Jumpsuit, My Blood, and Chlorine are great examples of how the band has evolved and solidified their position as an innovative force in the world of alternative pop rock.
The Bandito Tour After the release of the Trench album, Twenty One Pilots embarked on a global tour as a way of promoting their new album. They called it the Bandito Tour, a name they derived from the fan community they have cultivated who refer to themselves as “banditos. ” The tour commenced in October of 2018 in Nashville Tennessee and went on for a year with shows in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
The concerts were transformed into a giant community performance with almost every audience member wearing bandit masks and costumes to participate in the feeling of the songs. Tyler and Josh are charged up by the fans and utilize this charge in their performance. They use complex staging that enables them to dance on different terrains within the arena. During the performance, you can even see that Josh’s drums turn around 360 degrees at one point in time during one song. The shows have production values far superior to the more traditional rock concert type of entertainment.
Coordinated reduction of Double Header Tour Twenty One Pilots said during the Arena tour in January 2020 that they would be embarking on a scaled-back tour when they will play in somewhat small venues. They performed two gigs in every location for this Double Header Tour, with two separate sets for each show. The tour was supposed to start in June 2020 but the COVID-19 epidemic caused delays multiple times that resulted in the cancelation of live events.
Tour of Takeovers Twenty One Pilots said in February of 2022 that they will be starting their next tour, known as the Takeover Tour. In 2022–2023, their worldwide tour will see them returning to headlining venues and stadiums throughout North America and Europe.
As was the case with the last tour, the tour is scheduled to start on September 29, 2022, with the opening event taking place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. Starting in November, the arena tour consists of scheduled stops in Houston, Los Angeles, Oakland, Denver, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Washington D. C., Newark/New York, Boston, and more.
Spring 2023 brings the band to Europe for performances in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, and other nations. They hold major stadium events in Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam Accor Arena in Paris and other venues throughout Europe as well as a performance at London's Wembley Arena.
Summer 2023 leg The Twenty-One Pilots will return to North America for the Summer 2023 North America Tour after their European tour. Shows at large venues they have sold out before—the Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, the United Center in Chicago, and two nights at the Staples Center in Los Angeles—will make up this leg.
They also have shows scheduled at baseball venues PNC PARK in Pittsburgh and Busch Stadium in ST Louis proving just how popular Twenty One Pilots have gotten and how they can now fill such large areas with their live show and performance to their loving fans. Other cities that are part of this leg of the summer tour are Charlotte Miami, Orlando, Duluth, Omaha, Vancouver, Edmonton, and many others.
Setlist Expectations Since the band is continuously changing the concept and the styles of their performances, and combining that with the fact that their discography has grown with the number of popular hits, it is impossible to assume what their set list for this Takeover Tour will be. Of course, a fan can always expect them to perform songs such as Saturday, Good Day, Heathens, Ride, and of course Stressed Out.
Based on the previous tours, if the trend continues, one could expect them to perform anything from 25 songs and more with Holding on to You, Car Radio, My Blood, and Chlorine likely candidates given the reception they have received. The openers and other songs are likely to vary from one night to another and leave fans wondering while creating memorable moments for people from one city to the other.
However, the only certainty is that the show itself will be a beautiful live performance in an arena, a powerful storyline through music, and most importantly, a release of emotion with the band and fans of Twenty-One Pilots. The Takeover Tour is one of the most anticipated concert tickets for fans of alternative music as they progress to the premier league of pop music.
