When Does Paul Weller 2023 Tour Start?
Paul Weller’s officially planned tour starts on the 19th of March, 2023 with the first show at The SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. This will be succeeded by gigs in other city venues in the UK such as Leeds, Cardiff, Birmingham, Brighton, and many more up to early April.
The tour moves to Ireland for shows at the 3Arena in Dublin and the SSE Arena in Belfast in mid-April then back to the UK for the last leg in May; Sheffield Arena for two nights and two nights at the O2 Arena in London to bring the tour to an end on 16 and 17 May 2023.
All in all, the Paul Weller orchestrated tour looks like the following: Over two months, the musician will perform in 25 shows in Great Britain and Ireland. Even though Paul Weller has been consistently touring and releasing records and albums for decades now with still shows his enthusiasm for music at the age of 64, it appears that he has been dropping subtle hints that his days on the road as a musician might be behind him. There are comments around the announcement of this orchestral tour that suggest it could well be one of the last major nationwide tours.
Speaking to The Mirror earlier this year, Weller said: “It’s a few years off, yet, I can see myself stopping at some point, I don’t think I’ll ever totally stop playing though, I don’t think I could. ” But even if large-scale touring comes to an end, Weller still aims to record and occasionally perform: ‘If I am not holding a recorder or a guitar, I guess I would be climbing the wall!’
For now, fans are likely to see Paul Weller tour behind new albums and material for at least the next few years.
